While incorporating the successful features of previous models, the new Kentiki is manufactured with a one-piece rotationally moulded body that features a smoother hull line, thus providing less resistance through the water.

The manufacturing process involved in producing the single polyethylene unit results in increased strength essential for survival in the wild waters of the New Zealand coastline.

The winch is constructed of 6mm marine grade alloy which makes it light and strong. When spooled with 2000 metres of nylon (including the crimp section) it weighs 10kgs less than some others available.

The Kentiki winch is user-friendly with a built-in brake to prevent over-runs, and also a removable spool. The motor is protected by a 15amp cut-out switch which is designed to stop the motor in the event of the line being snagged.

The owner's name can be stamped onto the frame for easy identification.
